Sharing the Good News

Sharing the good news is not optional.  It is simply telling the truth, as you have experienced it.  If you have, indeed experienced the loving work of Jesus Christ (healing, comfort, joy, peace, mended relationships) at any level that you attribute to Him, then to refrain from telling others about it is the most damaging silence.  It is not damaging for others, but for you.  It is not just masking or hiding something.   It is masking or hiding something good, helpful, potentially life-saving.

Most people are hung up on “how to tell”.  That is really inconsequential in most instances.  After all, transparency and authenticity trump eloquence and polish any day.  Mark 5:19 is Jesus’ simple instructions to the man who was delivered from a legion of demons.  Jesus simply said, “Go home to your family and tell them everything the Lord has done for you and how merciful he has been.”  That requires neither training, great locution, or even courage- just honesty and transparency.  Be transparent with the good news.
